regular meeting of the Hickory County Library Board was held July 9, 2012 at 9:00am in the Hickory County Library Community
Room, at the Hickory County Library, 99 New Hermitage Drive, Hermitage, Missouri, 65668.
President Hal Geltmacher called the meeting to order at 9:04am.

Vice-President Sharon Barrett was absent; attendance was taken via the expense voucher.
The minutes from the June meeting were reviewed, after reviewing the meeting minutes, Gerda Fitts made a motion to approve
as presented, Eva Cooper seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
Administrator Stacy Coulsell gave her Administrator’s Report. She noted that the summer programming for the Library
continued with three entertainers remaining, these performances will be listed on the website and in The Index.
Administrator Coulsell reported that the library had completed their first month in the Worksite Wellness program hosted
by the Hickory County Health Department.
presented the Financial Reports for June. The balance as of July 9, 2012 was $92,547.17 this reflects the
balance of both the Library accounts. After hearing the Financial Reports for June, Gerda Fitts made the
motion to accept the report as presented. Judy Baker seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
Administrator Coulsell presented the Library’s Circulation Reports for June. There were 61 new
cards issued with a Total Circulation for the month was 3720.
President’s Report—there was none.
Under Library Association Report, there was
none as Library Association President Sharon Barrett was absent.
Under Old Business, the Board discussed the
status of this year’s Equalization funds, Administrator Coulsell reported that four new computers had been ordered for
public use and a new Canon 2030 copier/fax/printer was in place. Coulsell also noted that she was looking
into purchasing an inter-active whiteboard for the computer lab with these funds.
New Business, Administrator Coulsell presented the Library’s Quarterly Balance Report for the second quarter of 2012.
After reviewing the report, Eva Cooper moved to accept this report as presented, Gerda Fitts seconded, and the motion
carried unanimously. Also under New Business, Library Board President Hal Geltmacher welcomed newly appointed board member,
Judy Baker. President Hal Geltmacher also read a card from retired Board President Doris Frye, thanking
the Board for her years with them and the Library.
Having no further business, and hearing no
public comment, the meeting adjourned at 9:50am.
