OF THE HICKORY COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

regular meeting of the Hickory County Library Board was held February 8, 2016 at 10:00am in the Hickory County Library Community
Room, at the Hickory County Library, 99 New Hermitage Drive, Hermitage, Missouri, 65668.
President Hal Geltmacher called the meeting to order at 10:00am.
Members present were:

The minutes from the January meeting were reviewed.
Gerda Fitts moved to accept the minutes as read. Eva Cooper seconded, and the motion carried.
Library Administrator Stacy Coulsell gave the Administrator’s report.
Coulsell reported that Reading Has Gone to the Dogs continued each Saturday. Coulsell noted that
the Preschool Story Hour and Head Start Story Hour continued. Administrator Coulsell reported that she had submitted a Technology
Grant Ladder application to the State Library. Coulsell noted that the Annual Payroll audit to the Library’s
Workman’s Compensation insurance company was due in February. It was noted that the Library had purchased
a new copier.
Administrator Coulsell presented
the Financial Reports for January. The balance as of
February 8, 2016 was $163,246.21 this reflects the balance of
both the Library accounts. After hearing the Financial Reports for January Hal Geltmacher made the motion to accept
the Financial Reports as presented. Gerda Fitts seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
The Library’s Circulation Report for January was presented by Library Administrator
Stacy Coulsell. The Library had 27 new Library cards. The total circulation for the
month of January was 3950.
Report-Library Board President Hal Geltmacher had nothing to report.
Under Library Association-Library Association President Sharon Barrett reported that the annual report to the USDA was
due by February 29, 2016 and the Association would also be submitting an audit report.
Under Friends-It was noted that the program for the Friends of the Library’s February meeting later
that day would be on authors Anne and Tony Hillerman.
Under Old Business—Library
Administrator Stacy Coulsell reported that the Library would be submitting a Classified Ad to The Index for an employment
