Horticultural Outreach Program

Learn about the  importance of establishing soil health: how it effects plant health and disease, insect resistance and the nutritional content and quality of produce. Featured speaker Brad Driskill, Program Director/Horticulture Department Director of the State Fair Community College at Sedalia, is a native of Cross Timbers. Other topics to be addressed are garden siting, preparation, fertility, irrigation and beneficial mulches.
