Professor Storyteller-Dianne Moran

September 10, 2019 @ 18:00 - 19:00

Dianne will present a living history performance as Sacagawea with her baby boy upon her back. She was the only woman to accompany the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804-1806. Listen as she shares the frightening story of her capture as a child by the Hidatsa Tribe, then her amazing journey with the explorers. She will appear before you in full Native deer hides with a cultural display of Native artifacts and Expedition replicas.  A LIVE BULL SNAKE, like the ones mentioned in the journals will be shown. A Question and Answer period will conclude the program.
